local_activity classes: Textiles

I am a sustainability enthusiast and passionate about finding fun ways to look after our planet and keen to invite others along on this journey!

I am a community artist and can usually be seen at festivals in Milton Keynes teaching one craft or another. I have over 2o years experience working in schools and supporting interactive learning.

However, my biggest passion is turning old fabric, unwanted fabric or clothes that belonged to loved ones into rugs, table runners, wall hangings, jackets...such beautiful transformations that I am hooked and happy to stay that way!

I am also a children's story writer, textile designer, a performance storyteller and love everything creative!

In addition, I am the programme director and founder of Acornfields Community Interactions in Milton Keynes, a non-profit community organisation that run intergenerational art projects and multicultural events that promote community cohesion.
