Couples Wheel Throwing Workshop and Challenge

The price of this experience is for two people - not per guest. When was the last time you had this much fun with your plus one? Add some extra spice to date night - replace traditional tactics and take the pottery making couples challenge instead!To start, you will sit opposite each other at the same wheel and make your own pot individually with hands-on assistance from the experienced, local potter guiding you. This is a practice throw to get you used to the clay. Your significant other can take a video of you throwing your own pot as you compete to see who can make the biggest one.Next, you will need to work together and throw two projects on the same wheel. It’s quite the challenge, and not as easy as it sounds! Take it up a notch and throw the last pot blindfolded.The potter will provide a brief demonstration, and then you will spend about an hour forming the clay together to create your items. Once you've enjoyed your wheel-throwing experience, you can get your creations fired and glazed for an extra fee. The potter will complete the ceramic-making process for collection approximately 8 weeks later. • The Potter will take action shots of you throwing on the wheel.
• Aprons supplied to wear over your clothes.

• No need to bring anything as everything is included.
• Do trim long nails down otherwise it will poke the clay.
• Unfortunately, the Pottery Experiences are not wheelchair accessible.
