Welcome to Earth, Sand & Fire Pottery and Craft Studio, a serene and creative space nestled in Deeside near the city of Chester. Founded in 2024, we are a space for both budding and experienced ceramic artists alike.
Our studio offers a diverse range of pottery classes tailored to all skill levels. Whether you're a complete beginner eager to get your hands dirty or a seasoned potter looking to refine your techniques, our experienced instructors are here to guide you on your clay journey. From hand-building to wheel-throwing, our curriculum is designed to inspire creativity and foster a deep connection with the art of pottery. You can also try your hand at fused and stained glass, mosaics, and spoon carving with our rotating roster of craft tutors.

Booked this for a birthday experience for my sister and I.
The venue was easy to find and had plenty of parking. Room was light and airy and Matt was so welcoming and offered us tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival.
Everything was well explained and we felt supported but still free to express our own (slightly questionable) artistry as we worked. We made a trinket dish first and it was very interesting to learn the techniques used to do this and fun trying them out. Then we moved on to making a vase which was also really enjoyable. It was such a restful 3 hours and it absolutely flew by. We would definitely recommend this and will book again. Well worth the money.
