Green Fox Workshops was set up by the artist and trained secondary school art teacher, Gemma Lane in 2016.
I have over 14 years experience of working in secondary schools and since starting my business I have worked across the Bath, Bristol and Somerset area in places such as Bishops Palace in Wells, Tyntesfield National Trust in Bristol, Lincombe Barn in Bristol and Wrington Community Hall.
I set up my business as I wanted to offer my enthusiasm for art to the wider community. I wanted to share my passion of the range of materials that are available to use right at our finger tips from pencil and pen to the more trickier mediums such as oil paint and clay.
I teach in a nurturing and calm way, offering a step by step process with constant reassurance along the way. I have had lots of customers coming back for more classes as they not only enjoy my teaching methods, they also enjoy the social interaction with like minded people.
Green Fox Workshops offers a range of services from Online sessions, Hen Dos, Children’s parties, One: one sessions, Sketching Tours and Gift Vouchers.

Gemma is a fantastic art teacher and helped me bring back my artist flare (it has been 35 years since I last used chalk pastels!).
We were sent an email with the weekly subject to print or use alongside and instructions of how to prepare our paper.
What I particular enjoyed was learning about blending colours and creating textures through mark making useful.
Having a live online demonstration was great as we could watch, follow, ask questions and create a piece of artwork within 60 minutes.
I can honestly say I loved every session and feel very proud of what I have learned and created over the four week course.
Thank you ever so much Gemma for igniting my passion of art.
I will be signing up for more classes in the coming months.

I am new to art and pastels. Gemma presents well and is very encouraging. I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to beginners. I have signed up for the next course of pastel landscapes.
