Palette Knife Painting Class

Whether you’re a beginner with no painting experience, or just want to try a new technique of painting, join us at the Finsbury Park Painting Club for a chilled-out guided class with professional palette knife artist, Connor J Doyle. Each session will be guided by Connor, who will teach the basics of painting using a palette knife - from how to apply paint, to basic colour theory and principles.In the session, you will choose from a selection of reference images to help you create your very own textured masterpiece. Each person in the class will have complete creative freedom over their painting - whether that’s copying the exact colours from a reference image, or going wild and doing your own thing! Connor will be on hand to support you with whatever you decide.All the materials and equipment you’ll need will be provided - canvas, easel, acrylic paints and medium, palette knives and brushes. All you need is yourself!At the end of the session you will have your very own painting to take home, or you’re welcome to leave it behind to collect another time. A selection of sweet treats, herbal teas and water are provided, but you’re welcome to BYOB and any snacks you fancy. The class is a chilled-out inclusive space to relax, unwind and try a new technique of painting. Bring a friend or enjoy some creative downtime on your own - all are welcome!IMPORTANT NOTICE:

• Please consider that this painting is very thick and will take hours to dry properly. You are free to collect the painting within 3 weeks of the date of your class if you have plans after the session and cannot take it on the day.
• Please note that each session is guided and late attendees will not be allowed to join the class. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of each session in order to get settled and ready for the session.
• Tickets are non exchangeable and non refundable.

Beginner friendly
  All materials needed to paint a completed artwork to take home with you, including a canvas, palette knives, easel and apron.
