Really lovely time in a nice setting, felt like being in the countryside when we were still in London! Learnt a lot about bees thanks to our teacher and great to taste the different honey types, not something I've ever done.
With 12 of us in a group it was a bit of a squeeze around the hives but all in all a brilliant experience.

My son bought this for me for my birthday and WOW! This class was—genuinely—amazing. The first part with the theory made the experience with the hive so much more interesting because we could understand what was happening in the hive. The teacher was fabulous, really engaging. Lots of time handling the bees, which I’d wondered about. But kids if time to see the sections of the hive and what each type of bee does.

I came to the experience with my daughter not knowing much about bees but with a general interest in then. The class was excellent. Great informal lesson with plenty of questions answered. The teacher was friendly, approachable and genuinely interested in what he was teaching which always makes a difference I think.
Getting up close with the bees in the hive was wonderful. Wearing the protective suit meant there was no worry about being stung and so we could concentrate on learning and watching these fascinating creatures. This was the best bit for me. I could have spent hours there.
Then back to the classroom for more teaching and honey tasting. It's amazing the different tastes of the honey from different parts of London.
All in all, a great few hours and I'd thoroughly recommend it. Process about right I think.
Thanks for a wonderful time.

Really great experience, learnt loads about honey bees and was able to spend a good amount of time looking inside the beehive. Also got to try some different honeys at the end! Meetal was very knowledgeable, and an excellent teacher! Would definitely recommend.

I can’t recommend this experience enough. Meetal, the beekeeper, was very knowledgeable and explained things simply but comprehensively. The slides & videos he used were all very good. The highlight of the session was a visit to the hive, all togged up, where we were able to inspect the bees close up which was truly fascinating. So, even if you’ve only a passing interest in bees, I’m sure that you would thoroughly enjoy this experience as we did.

The most informative 2h this year, but far. I learned so much about bees - they are fascinating. Kudos to Meetal who delivers tons of knowledge in accessible way. Class starts with lecture, then the hive is open and you can see in practice the bees world. Certainly recommended!

Such a great experience! Learnt a lot during the presentation and it was really fun getting to put on a bee suit and opening the hives - we eventually got to see a bee being born!

The experience was really excellent. Both my girlfriend and I largely enjoyed it and Meetal is very knowledgeable and personable. The class begins with a presentation with everything you need to know about bees and then you don beesuits and head out to the hive. At the hive you are shown various parts of the hive and informed more about the bees specifically and shown more about artificial hives. After this, you head back and enjoy some of the local honeys which are each excellent in their own right. Would fully recommend this experience to everyone who is interested in bees!

This was such a lovely experience. Meetal is friendly, engaging, and knowledgable and spent plenty of time answering various questions the group had.

The presentation at the start was so interesting and presented in a digestible way without cutting corners.

Putting on the beekeeper suit and meeting the bees was the highlight for me, and you get to have a real hands on experience of holding different parts of the hive etc. I couldn’t stop smiling when the bees were buzzing around in my face - magical.

Finally, tasting the honey Meetal has harvested was a sweet and enjoyable way to cap off the morning. The variety between the different honeys from different areas was so fun to explore, and it’s so reassuring to know that it’s harvested by someone who knows so much about and cares so much for the bees.

10/10 experience, I would recommend this to anyone - bees are so important and it’s been eye opening to learn so much about them and see them working up close like this. Thank you for a lovely morning!
