Sally-Ann Johns graduated from Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen in 1999 with a BA (Hons) in Design and Craft. She then went on to receive her Masters in Product and Furniture from Edinburgh College of Art 2007. Sally-Ann now uses her fabrication skills to create beautiful and unique pieces of art using bendy ply and gold leaf. She has been working in the arts for over 20 years, exhibiting internationally and teaching a wide range of courses.

Inspirational! Thank you Sally Ann. The guilding class this Sat was wonderful.
Great atmosphere, very welcoming, informative, and chilled out. My art skills are developing with Sally’s help, lots of materials to choose from, and I can go at my own pace!

Studio 48 adult classes have been informative, uplifting, encouraging and fun. Sally Ann has a relaxed teaching style which I love, The studio is a bright, inviting, creative space. Sally’s art classes have inspired me to try new techniques and be more adventurous. All levels of ability accommodated for. I’m really looking forward to learning new skills and techniques each week. The facilities are great. Endless teas, coffees, or stronger beverages and fabulous pizza provided! Great Sat night socialising!
