Whether you want to learn how to make your own jewellery or are just looking for fun, creative things to do in South London, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to make a truly unique piece to wear every day, or give to a loved one as a one-of-a-kind gift.
After being tumbled to smooth shapes by the ebb and flow of the tide, sea glass and pottery are beautiful, sustainable materials for jewellery. Led by an experienced jeweller in a cosy, welcoming studio space, you'll gain all the skills you'll need to create your own unique pendant or drop earrings from these treasures.
This workshop will have you combing through a beautiful selection of British sea glass to find your perfect match, learning to fabricate a silver bezel to its unique shape, soldering, and finishing off the session by learning to bezel set your sea glass as a pendant or earrings.
Not to worry if you're a complete beginner, as your friendly host will give you all the demonstrations, support and advice you need to make sure your finished piece turns out the way you want it.
