What you'll do
Whether you want to learn upholstery for the first time or enhance your existing skills, this six-week ourse in Bristol is a comprehensive and affordable introduction to learning traditional upholstery techniques. Join us at our Staple Hill studio with your project and finally restore that piece of cherished furniture, all with the expert guidance of teacher Bey Lee. Throughout the course, Bey will demonstrate how to measure, cut, fit, sew and transform your furniture pieces to their former glory. On booking, we will send you the course information which will give you ideas about suitable projects but if you would like to receive this in advance please contact us below. The course fee includes the use of tools and consumables. At the end of the course, you'll have a beautifully restored piece of furniture as well as newfound confidence in your upholstery abilities.We have 2 separate 6 week courses per week - Tuesday evening 6:30-9:30pm and Friday 10am-1pm.Please note:
- Unfortunately, there is no space to store your furniture at the studio between classes every week so please choose a project you can transport to and from class.
- Stuffing will be charged at trade rate at the end of the course, depending on how much is used.

Creative Space is on the High Street near the centre of Staple Hill, there is free parking on the streets around the venue.

We are a creative studio based in Staple Hill offering a wide range of craft courses, classes and workshops from sewing, dressmaking, stained glass, printmaking, upholstery, crochet, weaving and much more. Our classes run 7 days a week and we have activities for adults and kids during the day and evening. Why not learn a new skill or improve one you already have at a one of our exciting workshops? Our studio space is also available to hire.
